Parent - Child Training Programme

The Parent-Child Training Program offers training, support, and practical knowledge to parents of Special Needs Children to assist them in understanding their child better. We provide training through group sessions as well as one-on-one sessions, based on the current level of the child.

The program looks into the following skills:

  • Cognitive & Language skills
  • Fine & Gross motor skills
  • Social & Communication Skills
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Pre-Vocational and Vocational Training:

Pre-Vocational training

Our pre-vocational training program introduces students with autism to a range of skill-based activities, helping them explore and experience different areas of interest. Based on their engagement and strengths, we identify their preferred domains and provide focused support to develop those skills further. Special emphasis is also given to enhancing social and communication skills, essential for overall development.

Vocational training

After the Pre-Vocational stage, students are assigned to specific Vocational groups where the focus is on working independently without any assistance/ prompting.

Pre-NIOS and NIOS:

National Institute of Open Schooling [NIOS] Board provides flexibility to students in terms of choice of subjects as well as pace of learning. NIOS offers various subjects in multiple language mediums (at both Secondary and Senior Secondary levels), with provision for transfer of credits from other boards.

We accommodate students facing challenges with the pace of mainstream schooling syllabi. A Present Performance Level evaluation to assess the child’s progress is taken, followed by enrollment into the Pre-NIOS program. Interactive teaching methodologies like Visual Aids, Activities and Games help children understand better.

We currently offer the following subjects under the NIOS Grade X & XII program:

  • English
  • Home Science
  • Data Entry Operations
  • Business Studies
  • Painting
  • Mass Communication

In case a demand for any of the twenty subjects offered under the NIOS curriculum comes up, we can try to engage tutors for the same for the respective student.
